The Elmcrest children’s ministry is focused on teaching biblical truths to establish the building blocks of a relationship with Jesus Christ. We desire to come alongside parents and families and depend on Scripture to help them grow in their giftedness with God. We believe children can depend on God’s Word to serve others and Him. On Sunday mornings we have fun! We play games, and dive in to God’s Word together. Your child can expect to make friends, have a good time, and worship together every week.
The Senior Adult Ministry, at Elmcrest, is a place for all adults ages 60+ to find biblical teaching and fellowship every week through Sunday School. Every Sunday, you’ll feel welcomed and challenged by leadership and friends. The ministry also has a variety of events throughout the year that further enable community and fellowship.
First impressions are important! The Elmcrest Greeter Team makes sure that people are welcomed, loved and encouraged when they join us on Sunday mornings. The purpose of the Greeter Ministry is to prepare the hearts of seekers, attenders, visitors and members by welcoming everyone to Elmcrest Baptist Church with a smile and a warm handshake because we care. Candidates for the Greeter Ministry must love and care about people, possess a positive enthusiasm for the church and a willingness to serve with love.
The passion, mandate and vision of Elmcrest Care Ministries is to demonstrate the loving care of our Savior by ministering to those in need of comfort, care and support. An important aspect of Care Ministries is equipping and encouraging our entire church body to be involved in providing prayer, love and practical acts of caring for one another.
